FAQ
Can my children attend the same class even though they are different ages?
No. Due to the curriculums design, we cannot have students in different age groups in the same class. We have separated age groups in the following order; ages 4-5, ages 6-8 and ages 9-11. The activities for each age group differ due to the difference in cognitive and motor skills.
What if my child has to miss class?
We understand that things happen and students may need to miss class. We have a 3 missed class policy. If the student misses 3 classes, they will be dropped from the program.
Do parents have to purchase supplies?
No, this program is completely free. We provide all supplies for every student.
How does student pick up work?
Due to the class schedule, we ask that parents please pick up their child within the 10 minute period after class has ended. When picking up your child, we ask that you wait in the waiting area until the class is dismissed.
Do parents have to stay for the duration of the class?
This course is designed for the child to experience the class at an independent level. Parents are asked to leave for the class period and to come back after the 60 minute period class has finished.
How long is each class?
Each class is an hour long. We ask that you drop off and pick up your child on time. This will help us all stay on schedule to begin the art class on time with the full 60 mintue period.
Is the class co-ed?
Yes, the class is co-ed. Boys and girls will be joining class.
What type of art/projects will children be creating?
Students will be experimenting with different art forms such as collage, painting, drawing and crafting.
How many instructors will be leading the class?
There will be 2 instructors leading class at all times.
I missed the sign up dates. What can I do?
You are encouraged to join our waitlist. Artsy Kids will be offering this 10 week program throughout the year! Sign up for the Artsy Kids newsletter to have the registration reminders sent to you for upcoming sessions.
Is parking easily accessible?
Unfortunately we do not have a parking lot. Parking can be hit or miss in West Adams. Please give yourself ample time. There are a couple 10 min parking spots in front of our location where you can pull up and drop off or pick up your child.
